The Wynnstay Group has announced the appointment of two new members of staff to its agricultural sales team in south Wales and Staffordshire.
Philip Pugh has been appointed as technical sales specialist in south Wales covering an area that stretches from Llandeilo in Carmarthenshire, across to Brecon and south towards Swansea. Philip, who has previously played international rugby for Wales and club rugby for Neath will be responsible for providing specialist technical advice to sheep, beef and dairy farmers throughout the region covering all aspects of animal health and animal nutrition.
Meanwhile, Ben Vernon has been appointed as technical sales specialist in Staffordshire. Mr Vernon will be working closely with the Wynnstay retail stores in Stafford and Uttoxeter to provide technical advice and sales support to the region’s farmers.
Mr Vernon who also manages his own flock of 200 sheep as well as a small herd of beef cattle will work closely with existing and new customers across a wide product range including agrochemicals, seed, fertiliser and animal health products.
